# user.me

> Returns the Manus user ID associated with the authenticated API key or OAuth2 access token. This endpoint is read-only and does not require an OAuth scope.

  **Auth:** API Key or OAuth token. No OAuth scope is required.
</Tip>

<Tip>
  **Read only:** This endpoint does not create or update account data. Call it after OAuth token exchange to identify the Manus user who authorized the client. Do not parse undocumented claims from the access token.
</Tip>

<Note>
  The endpoint returns only the Manus user ID. It does not return the user's email, name, team, or profile.
